Our commitment to environmental sustainability
SQW is committed to seeking environmental sustainability wherever possible in its wide-ranging project work and through its corporate operations. SQW aims to be a net zero business by 2030, which means that we will reduce our emissions as far as is practical and offset the remaining emissions.
Our latest carbon footprint assessment for our operations in 2022/23, undertaken in accordance with UK government guidance on emission conversion factors and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard, can be downloaded here.
The report sets out the actions we will take to reduce our emissions. Whilst we progress towards net zero by 2030, we will pay to offset our emissions, thereby committing to being a carbon neutral business.
