Strengthening Social Care Analytics Programme evaluation

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. In 2021, the Health Foundation launched the Strengthening Social Care Analytics Programme, which is supporting five exemplar projects to help the social care sector respond to COVID-19 and its aftermath.

The projects aim to demonstrate how data analytics can be used to improve social care and help to catalyse further change in the social care data analytics system, by sharing findings and methods within a community of practice. Each project has received up to £60k over one year to support their work.

SQW is undertaking a qualitative evaluation of the Strengthening Social Care Analytics Programme. The evaluation runs to May 2022, and aims to understand how the Health Foundation funding has supported project teams to improve the use of better data analytics within social care, generating rich learning and insights.
