Evaluation of DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture's Strategy for Dissemination and Exploitation of Results
Client: European Commision DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC)
In 2015, DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) adopted a Strategy for the Dissemination and Exploitation of the results of the two main programmes managed by the DG: Erasmus+ and Creative Europe. By making relevant results accessible to the appropriate audiences, DG EAC hoped to support policy development, maximise impact, and provide evidence to support the case for the continuation of these programmes. In partnership with Coffey, SQW was commissioned to evaluate the Strategy.
This evaluation was intended to provide a detailed assessment of the concepts, processes, roles and responsibilities which underpinned the Strategy. The research comprised of three main work packages:
- Analysis of the Strategy's development and implementation process (including interviews with contributors and stakeholders)
- Analysis of the online dissemination platform (including benchmarking, two online surveys and interviews of users)
- Analysis of the dissemination and exploitation of success stories (including case studies).
