The NHS Long Term Plan set out an ambitious and challenging agenda for the NHS. It covers a wide range of issues including: births and early years; addressing major health issues; and supporting people to age well. It also includes a range of commitments around engaging individuals in their own care and service integration.
Since the NHS Long Term Plan’s publication, the Covid-19 pandemic exacerbated the pressure on local systems to deliver timely, quality care against a backdrop of growing demand. The Plan has since been supplemented with the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, NHS Primary Care Access Plan and NHS Dental Recovery Plan.
SQW has developed considerable knowledge and expertise across key priority areas, as demonstrated by the project examples below.
