Over recent years, the future of towns has attracted much debate. This Viewpoint argues that the current COVID-19 crisis makes the focus on towns more, not less, important. It also considers how towns might use the tools that have been made available to them to define a new and stronger future.

Research England, alongside several partners, commissioned SQW to conduct a literature review on the concept of the entrepreneurial university ecosystem, develop a high level conceptual model of a ‘general’ entrepreneurial ecosystem, and produce a technical note outlining the options available to compile further evidence.

SQW's research into the crossover between the work of English cultural organisations and higher education institutions has been published by Arts Council England.

Government Equalities Office funded the ‘Return to Practice’ programme to support Allied Health Professionals and Health Care Scientists who want to return to work. The programme operated between August 2017 and March 2019. SQW evaluated this activity and produced a report which was published by the GEO.
