Denbighshire Economic Strategy
Client: Denbighshire County Council
The economy of Denbighshire in North Wales is diverse, with a more urban north and predominantly rural south. SQW was commissioned by Denbighshire County Council to develop an Economic Strategy to support the Council’s commitment to ‘A Prosperous Denbighshire.’
The strategy development process will involve an extensive programme of consultations and workshops. This will inform a SWOT analysis of the area's prospects, and the development of priorities and a strategic framework. We will also work with stakeholders to develop a more specific Action Plan document. Key themes are likely to be around the green economy, rural businesses, town centre regeneration, enhancing the tourism offer and developing the workforce.
